Patriots Point is host to the largest 4th of July Blast in South Carolina - hosting 30 thousand people for our free celebration. The legendary Charleston Harbor fireworks display launched from the USS Yorktown at approx. 9:45 p.m., hot local bands...featuring the East Coast Party Band from 7 until nearly midnight, a gigantic Kidz Zone, a Food Village and Beer Garden, and many local craft venders. The celebration starts at 5:00 p.m. and continues until nearly midnight. Of course, the four ships, 25 aircraft, Congressional Medal of Honor, Cold War Submarine Memorial and Vietnam Base Camp are open for business.
